Thank you for taking the time to look at our rehomers.  All our animals are fostered by friends who really care about animals.  These people pay for the food and make every effort to housetrain them, to walk them on leads and to obey simple commands.  The fund pays for the flea, tick and worm treatment and for the vaccinations.  We also try to pay for the neutering and microchip if the bank balance is healthy  !!!!! All the animals we home are either strays or unwanted pets.  They need love and a home for life.

The newest additions are at the top of the page and as homes are found a brief note will be added.

Pearl, Ruby, Minnie, Wesley, Diego, Lila and Blossom

When I got home on Sunday I had an urgent call from Valerie - a box containing 7 puppies had been dumped in her garden-2 boys and 5 girls.  She is fostering 3 and I have 4 with me.  They are about 6 weeks old.  We have named them now: Pear, Ruby, Minnie, Wesley, Diego, Lila and Blossom.  All have been wormed and front lined and got a clean bill of health from the vet.  2 girls have already been reserved.

Pearl left us on February 27th.  She is on trial with Lisa Woods and her family - 4 boys which includes 8 month old twins!  Anna who lives in a village just outside of Nicosia also fell in love with her and made a generous donation to the fund.  Thank you.

Wesley-the bruiser - and the most adventurous of the 7 puppies left the fold on 1st March- to live with Ann-Britt and her husband.  Ann-Britt is a volunteer at BARC which is wonderful for me as I shall see Wesley regularly.  They also gave me a donation to the fund.  Many thanks.

Greeta

Meet Greeta mother of the 3 puppies.  She is still living in the owners’ garden but they don’t want her.  She is about 4-5 years old, and seems to be very friendly and obedient.  CYDRA have offered to pay for her spay, all we need to do now is find a foster /permanent home.  The vet recommends we spay within the next 4 weeks.

Honey and Scamp

Yesterday we rescued Ollies' brother and sister and they are now residing with Val.   They all go for their 1st injection tomorrow. They are about 2 months old. The family want rid of the mother too.  We'll have to see what we can do- but the main thing is to get her spayed in about 3-4 weeks time. She is a very friendly spaniel cross about 4-5 years old.

The good news is that Honey and Scamp have been re-homed in Germany.

Simba

Simba is a male terrier x and about 14 months old.  He is being fostered by Wendy along with 4 other dogs who he gets on really well with.  He is loving and gentle.  He walks well on a lead.  He loves to play and is very good with children.  Wendy also has a cat who Simba just ignores.  Simba is fully vaccinated and is to be neutered soon. Simba's owner could not cope with him after her husband was posted away. He was left tied up in the garden for long periods of time.

21st January
Simba
is now on trial.
Wendy and I are just back from RAF Akrotiri where we delivered Simba to the Lee family.  Rob Lee fell in love with the picture of Simba and both he and his wife were thrilled when they met him in the flesh.  They have 2 little girls called Leah and Faith.

26th February
Simba has been re-homed !!!
