Next to be helped was Lulu.  She had been dumped outside a restaurant one Sunday morning and although she was only about 8 weeks old she was now on her own.  She was so scared she kept hiding under the cars and perhaps that explains why all the fur on her shoulders had been singed away.  She looked like a little porcupine!  It did not take long to find this young lady a new home.  Lulu has now been renamed Pepper by her 10 year old owner, seemingly after a television pig!!!!!!!!!! (Much to Carole’s disgust).

Carole now took another BARC puppy.  This was Star who originally went into BARC with two other puppies. When those two were re-homed in December it was far too cold for Star to stay at the kennels on his own so he went to stay with Carole until a new owner was found.  He has now got a lovely new Mum and has been renamed Mr Bean.  He is doing fine in his new home.
